Next up is the home leg at Minnis Bay, starting at 11am this Sunday 8th January. If you’re not marshalling, please do make the effort to run, as every runner helps the club!

Round 3 of the Junior Kent Fitness League series took place on Monday 2nd January 2012. Nine-year-old Maddie Stirk made her KFL debut, whilst for Alex Kavanagh and Oliver Cooper, it was a return to Avery Hill Park, where they received their series winners' trophies last year. New Eltham Joggers were the host club and conditions underfoot were excellent for early January. Although relatively flat compared to some KFL venues, the course measured almost two-miles, one of the longest of the junior series.

Confirmed times and finishing positions for the Thanet Roadrunners AC competitors were as follows:

12:53 Alex Kavanagh 2nd (1st Boy U13)

13:41 Oliver Cooper 3rd (2nd Boy U16)

15:23 Beth Williams 11th (2nd Girl U13)

16:16 Rebecca Hales 17th (5th Girl U13)

17:45 Maddie Stirk 27th (10th Girl U13)

The next round of the junior competition is at our own Minnis Bay KFL fixture next Sunday, 8th January 2012.
