Good idea Rick.

Well I've joined, but it just looks like its us 2 at the moment!!

All you have to do to have your runs show up is to click 'Join Group', and then your runs will automatically show up on the group page.

If anyone is thinking of buying a new Garmin Forerunner, I would hold out for a month, as the newer models (220 & 620) have recently been announced. So you should either get a shiney new model with a colour screen and a few new features, or you will get a better deal on the older models once the new ones are released.

Garmin says RRP's are £329 for the 620, and £219 for the 220.

Currently you can get the 610 for around £200, and the 210 for around £150, but looking at the new features, I would imagine the newer models will come bundled with the heart rate monitor which is additional £40.

Personally, im holding out to see what the new Garmin 920XT will be like, but I recon thats still a year off yet. I'm hoping it will be smaller and more watch like, because if I im spending that sort of money on a watch, I want to get the most use out of it, and use it as a watch generally day to day, not just for training.

https://buy.garmin.com/en-GB/GB/sports/running/forerunner-620/prod122785.html

discount code    GARMIN30   gets you 30% off TODAY ONLY  (£251)

I still think the 210 for approx £100 is better bang per buck!
