Race Director
« on: June 10, 2011, 09:23:58 PM »
Can anyone let me know what is required as a race director, as I see that one is required for the Thanet 20 and as this an ideal race for anyone training for their up and coming marathons in April this is a good race to have.

And I may be able to take this on, if I know what is required.

Andy - I would suggest you speak to Phil Kinnill - I think you can email him through the website as he is Race Director for the marathon and half, wallbanger.  Also John Cooper who has race directed the 20 before.

Its a case of getting a team to helpwith the admin, entries, risk assessments etc and being there on race day to pull things together.

I'm happy to do race entries for you Andy if you take it on.

Hi Andy - great stuff!
John wrote a bit of a resume for the position is March's newsletter, but you've got the giste from Sharon. I've just sent you an email with John and Phil's details, so hopefully they can help answer any queries you have.
