Park Runs

26 TRACcies, including some familiar faces from Whitstable, ensured the Margate Park Run  got off to a good start yesterday. The crowd was led home by Chris Brenchley in third with 19:27, the first of five club members in the first ten. Junior Rebecca Hales was first female home in 22.54, while Hughie Coleman turned in the best age graded performance of the day.

Meanwhile further up the coast at the Whitstable Park Run, Alex Horsley claimed his first win for nearly two years in 19.40, as he was the only TRACcie on show at Tankerton. Last week at Whitstable, seven TRAccies took part, with Nick Lever first back in 20.22, with new PBs for juniors Alfie Grafton and Kealy Goldsmith. Kealy was also first female back, scoring her first win.  Terry Brightwell was pacing, but pulled a hamstring which scuppered his appearance at the London marathon the following day – poor old Terry!
