Grand Union

Over the weekend, Pete Johnson and Jon Poole both completed the Grand Union canal race - 149 miles from Birmingham to London.

Jon did justover 38 hours with Pete an hour behind.

Pete holds the record, apparently, for the most number of successful attempts.

In 2002, Rob Goodwin (whilst a member of TRAC) actually won the event.
