Mount Ephraim 10k

13 TRACcies tackled the tough course in Sunday’s Mount Ephraim 10k, the 7th race in this year’s Kent Grand Prix and Club Championship series. Chris Brenchley was first back in an excellent 12th of just over 200 runners, while new member Ricki Savage debuted in 17th – don’t worry Ricki, they’re not all like Mount Ephraim! Good to see Andy Beaumont back in action after more injury woe. For the ladies, Pam Philpot just got the better of Delphi Lever. This should lead to a strong showing in the grand prix which I’ll share in due course, and I’ll also put some photos from Chris on later in the week as well.

I’ve updated the latest club champs standings – three races to go and the male v40 is the most competitive category, with four still in the running. Michael and Pam Philpot have all but wrapped up the Mv50 and Lv45 respectively, but all to play for elsewhere.

Next up is our marathon for which we still need marshals, so please do let Helen Langsmead know if you can help. After that it’s the Tonbridge half marathon and Sittingbourne 10.
