Cross Country Season Approaches.

The cross country seasons kicks off soon, so why not have some fun and slosh in mud to keep fit over the winter?!

The Kent Cross Country League fixtures open at Swanley Park on 5th October, with four other fixtures before February, with Masters/Vets Cross Country championships on 7th December at Danson Park and the Main County Championships at Brockhill School, Hythe on 4th Jan 2014. Full details are on the KCAA website.

And then the 2013-14 Kent Fitness League starts with a trip to Sevenoaks on 20th October. As usual, the season comprises seven races on Sunday morning before the end of season relay and presentation in March. There are junior races at many fixtures as well. Ten runners score for the team, with a mix of guys and girls of all ages to fill the scoring places. We will also need marshals for the legendary home leg at Minnis Bay on 5th January. More details on the KFL event page.
