Duathlon – final word

Thanet’s toughest race will take place on Sunday, with just a little bit of mud to keep the competitors company.

The John Flitch Mountain Bike Duathlon starts at 10.30 am, at Minnis Bay in Birchington – there’s plenty of parking, but do give yourself plenty of time to get set up. The final pre-entrants are on the race page – we will be taking entrants on the day, £30 for an individual, £45 a team for two and £50 a team of three. You may well find it easier to print out and complete an entry form before you arrive.

Please remember your cycle helmet, as you will not be allowed to ride without, and please do not wear headphones or earphones as you will be disqualified. Further, the council have asked us to remind entrants not to rinse their muddy kit in the nearby public loos.

Grant Burton is our race photographer for the day. You will be able to download photos from his website - www.grantburtonphotography.co.uk/ - shortly after the race.

Other than that, enjoy the race!
