2014 Grand Prix – Final results

We now have the final standings in for the 2014 Kent Road Race Grand Prix – congratulations to the men’s team who pipped Maidstone to second spot by just 10 points with a strong showing at the final race of the year. The ladies finished a very comfortable sixth, to complete the most successful year for both teams for some time.

There were some excellent finishes in the individual tables, with Owen Mitchell 5th, joined by Chris Brenchley in the top 10. Chris was top Roadrunner in the v40 placing 5th, while Steve Suttle was 9th in the v50 and Pete Johnson 14th in the v60. For the girls, Becky Williams was top place in 11th, joined in the top 20 by Sarah Harmes who was first TRAC lady in the v35. Pam Philpot and Jo Holl top placed in the v45 and v55.

The first three races of the 2015 series have been announced, kicking off with the Canterbury 10 mile on 25th January, the return of our own Thanet 20 mile on 1st March and the Dartford Half marathon on 15th March. Let’s see what we can do next year!
