Six Run Wild in Chislehurst

Sunday 22nd May saw the inaugural Chislehurst half marathon and the weather was fine. Race HQ was Glebe Football Club and with the race having a limit of 400 runners there was plenty of room for all.

The race was half trail in Scadbury Nature Reserve and half pavements in the surrounding area and there were hills in and out. The race was well organised with plenty of water and marshals who were very friendly and supportive. Feedback from the event has been good. The locals were also out cheering with many offering sweeties.

Six Tracies ran with some having good days and some bad. They were, Terry Brightwell, Jack Venables, Steve Clarke, Steve Forshaw, Jo Jeffreys and Richard Purton. Jack had a particularly good day with it being his first half marathon posting a great time of 1:45:25. Well done Jack.

Good fun was had by all!
