Take Part in the Alfie Gough Memorial Run on December 17th at Honeyfield Wood

The Alfie Gough Memorial Run is taking place on December 17, 2017, in Honeyfield Wood, Pot Kiln Lane, between Smarden and Bethersden.  The fun run is to raise money for the Alfie Gough Trust, a great local charity where 100% of funds raised go directly to Great Ormond Street Hospital to fund complementary therapy to ease the pain of children experiencing cancer.

You can run, jog or walk as many laps of the 1km track cut into 60 acres of beautiful ancient woodland, as you can in 1hr, 2hrs, 3hrs or 4hrs. Complete at least 5 laps and receive a stunning medal and T-shirt!

Running starts at 10 am. There will also be live music, food and craft stalls, campfires and runners aid station.

To book a place make a donation to The Alfie Gough Trust here: virginmoneygiving.com/team/runrural

Suggested minimum donation of £15 for adults and £10 for children. Don't forget to leave names for each runner!

There will also be a 1km fun run for under 10s at 9:45. Make a donation on the day. All children will receive a medal.
