TRAC Take on Winter Tanners 2018

Mark Foster sent me a link to the Winter Tanners 2018 event report.  For those that don’t know, The 40th Winter Tanners, held on Sunday 21st January 2018,  is a challenging walk/run of circa 30 miles (or 20 miles) on Surrey footpaths and bridleways with MINIMAL support and usually adverse weather conditions.  A great TRAC crowd took part including Mark, Steve Clarke Steve Forshaw Peter Gough Jack Venables and John Hunt.

Mark Foster said, ‘The Weather was challenging with snow then constant drizzle followed by pouring rain. We kept warm by taking full advantage of the kissing gates and all but Jack sporting beards to help keep out the cold.’
