Take Part in the ‘50 Mile Challenge’ Ultra Marathon in East Kent

The next event in the Challenge Hub calendar, famous for its Ultra Marathons races in Kent, is the ‘50 Mile Challenge’ which takes place Sunday 13th July.  The 24 Hour Challenge is unsurprisingly an athletic test to run 52.4 miles with a cut off point of 15 hours?

The course at Marshside Fishery, Chislet, near Canterbury chosen is a safe 6.55 mile lap which allows competitors the option of dropping out whenever they wish. The route is fully signed and marshalled with first aid and water stations provided.

This year, the Challenge Hub is also allowing tag teams to take part in the ‘50 Mile Challenge’,  providing an opportunity for those wishing to take part, but want a slightly less daunting experience.

Mike Inkster, Director of Challenge Hub said, ‘The 50 mile Challenges’ is not just an opportunity for ultra athletes to test themselves, but to local athletes to test to see if they can do a distance like this in what is a safe, well organised environment.’ .

He added, ‘details about this event are on our website http://www.challengehub.co.uk. If you have any questions regarding this event please contact me at contact@challengehub.co.uk.’
