Minnis Bay Cross Country

Plenty of wet muddy fun yesterday for the latest Kent Fitness League fixture at Minnis Bay as 352 runners enjoyed full dykes. Thirteen TRACcies helped the club to their best combined performance of the season, coming in 10th. Led by Noel Sutton in second, with Nigel Cook, Chris Brenchley and Nick Lever also in the first 100 for the men in 10th on the day, with Delphi Lever, Tanya Edwards and Debbie Hatt helping the ladies to 12th.

Overall, the ladies sit 13th, the men 17th and the combined team 15th with just to the trip to Blean Woods in Canterbury on 17th February to go.

Very well done to all runners, to all marshals and to Richard Stirk for taking on the race directing baton.

Thanks also to Brian Brenchley for some photos which will be on the site in the next few days. We’ll also have junior results in due course.
