Greenwich 10k

Eight club members travelled to Greenwich yesterday for the 2011 Club 10k championship race, the Meridian 10k.

On the undulating course with some pretty good downhill stretches and long uphill final km, Andy Stevens retained his club 10k title, and was first home ahead of Steves King, Suttle and Adelsberg. The club filled three of the first five MV50 places! Bill Wright continued in his current good form, and was delighted to have knocked over 90 seconds from his PB. Congrats to Ann Gillatt for solely representing the TRAC ladies! There was a total of 433 finishers.

These results will hopefully move the club up the 2011 Kent Grand Prix table – we’ll have full details of those later in the week.

Well done everyone!
