Weekend Action

Over the weekend, there was bit of action. Starting with the 100th Whitstable Park Run on Saturday. Terry Brightwell had his 90th run, just under the 24minute mark, while Jerry Kelk had a rare outing on two legs just ahead of Rick Ryder as both dipped under 27 mins.

On Sunday, Alex Horsley tacked the Abbots Langley Tough 10k, finishing 29th in 41.01. the toughness comes from an uphill last 2k, only to receive your medal from former England football manager Graham Taylor.

Also on Sunday, a bit closer to home, Becky Williams completed the Sittingbourne 10 mile in 77mins 46 secs, and Gaynor Shelvey managed2 hrs 06mins 24. Steve Clarke also ran but didn’t make the results.
