Grand Prix

We now have the updated standings in the Kent Grand Prix, following Good Friday’s Folkestone 10 mile race. The men’s team is 9th and the Ladies’ has moved up to 10th, as both teams managed the full complement of scoring runners.

Steve King, Andy Stevens and Chris Brenchley are all in the top 25 men overall, whilst the club has 15 scoring men already. Steve King (v40), Steve Suttle (v50), Bill Wright and Terry Brightwell (both v60) scoring in the vet categories.

Gen Holden heads the ladies at 21st, with Sarah Harmes, Debbie Hatt and Becky Williams also picking up points. Delphi Lever (v45) and Barbara Gambrill (v55) make the vet ladies’ charts.

Well done everyone – don’t forget Sunday’s Darent Valley 10k is the next race, with a short respite until the rearranged Deal Half Marathon on 13th May.
