Club Presentation Evening - photos now loaded

On 2^nd February, the club held its annual presentation evening at Westgate Pavilion.

Winners of the Club championship awards for 2011 received their prizes, according to their performances in races from 10k to marathon. Steve Clarke won the Chairman’s award, and Sharon Foster the Secretary’s award. Oliver Cooper and Hughie Coleman were joint Junior Boy of the year, whilst Imogen Bushell was pronounced Junior Girl of the year. Full details of all award winners are in the attached file.

The club also presented cheques to the Kingfisher Children’s Charity and the Beach Within Reach, as the chosen beneficiaries of the Wallbanger and Marathon and Half respectively.

Well done to Phil Kinnill and Carol Burton for heading the organisation of this event, and congratulations to all award winners! Many thanks also to those who donated prizes for the raffle, the proceeds of which were donated to charity.
