Roadrunners at Paddock Wood Half Marathon

 

 

Nearly 2,000 runners completed the 2010 Paddock Wood Half Marathon last weekend with 9 of them representing Thanet Roadrunners

 

Aboura Mahieddine was once again the strongest Thanet runner with his 1 hour 11 minutes 28 seconds for the 13.1 miles being enough to earn him 6thplace overall in the race just 90 seconds behind the race winner William Levett of Tonbridge AC. Tina Oldershaw of host club Paddock Wood was the 1stlady home in 1:20:03 which gained her 39thplace overall in the race.

 

Barbara Gambrill and Phil Kinnill continued their taper towards the London Marathon with solid performances and Genevieve Holden was the 1stTRAC lady home in 1:39:05.
