Christmas Cracker - updated

 

Seven TRAC members took part in the Kent Christmas Cracker 5 mile at Fowlmead yesterday. Nick Lever was first male back, 14^th of the 147 runners, whilst Lisa Sharpe headed the ladies in 44^th. Junior Myles Corley was running his first race for the club. Well done all – full TRAC results below:

A two-and-a-half mile fun run also took place, starting concurrently with the Kent Christmas Cracker.  The cycle track was extremely slippery in parts, with plenty of ice, some of it practically invisible, on the shadier sections. 

Although some adults did take part, the field was mainly composed of juniors, including three of the Thanet Roadrunners AC youngsters.  They were:

Alex Kavanagh     19:04       1st Boy and first overall

Beatrice Lever      21:20       1st Girl and second overall

Imogen Bushell    22:33       2nd Girl and seventh overall
