Tilly and Emily to Run for Kent

TRAC juniors Tilly Ellis-Jarman and Emily Bond have both been selected to represent Kent at the National Inter-Counties Cross-Country Championships on Saturday 10th March 2012.  Tilly will run in the U15 Girls’ race over 4KM, with Emily going in the 3KM contest for U13 Girls.

The fixture, at Cofton Park, Birmingham will be televised by Sky Sports 3 and includes the final of the McCain UK Cross-Country Challenge, incorporating the World Cross-Country Trials.

Both girls had already earned their Kent vests for the season at the Southern Inter-Counties at Croydon before Christmas and their latest selection follows a lot of hard work in training and some excellent race performances during the busy winter season.

Before the inter-counties, Emily will run in her Thanet Roadrunners AC colours at the Saucony National Cross-Country Championships at Parliament Hill, this coming Saturday 25th February 2012.
