A Marathon's no Picnic

Paul Yuill tackled Trionium’s Picnic Marathon on Saturday. Comprising two circuits of the Midsummer Munro, this lived up to its name as the hardest marathon in Britain, with 6000 feet of climbing involved. A word of warning for considering this event, which is held every two years, you’d better add 40% on their personal best marathon time! 122 competitors finished, with Paul coming 113th in 6.21.

To round off a very active weekend, Paul then mounted a tandem for the London to Brighton bike ride on Sunday!

Great stuff, Paul!!
