Running Study Opportunity For Club Members

Calling all fellow TRACCIES......(Both Male & Female, Aged between 18 – 55)

Some of you may know that club member Darren Baker is just entering the second year of PhD study in Running Performance, and indeed may have helped him out with previous trials.

Are you interested in finding out more in-depth details about your running performance and race potential?

Do you want to know just what the is difference between Haile Gebrselassie, Paula Radcliffe and yourself?

The opportunity has arisen once again to receive professional Sport Science analysis of your running performance at Canterbury Christ Church University to be booked in and completed anytime between now and July 2011.

Darren is looking to recruit more runners to assist in collecting data based around long-distance running performance.

Although the entire experience is crucial to the overall study, in return for participation, you will be offered a detailed portfolio of information about your current fitness, running economy and suggestions for future performance improvements.

Previous participants are more than welcome and for those that have never been in a laboratory setting, the experience will be enlightening and rewarding!

For more details, please email Darren Baker or phone on 07772 628832.

In the meantime, Happy Plodding!
