Weekend Action

On Sunday, the 2012-13 Kent Fitness League kicked off in Sevenoaks’ Knole Park. With just over 400 runners, TRAC had a good start, with Noel Sutton placing 3rd, with the men’s team in 16th. Michaela Hill followed up her runs in the summer relays by leading the ladies’ team to a great 10th place, while Claire Stirk had her first run in a Thanet Vest. The juniors also had a splash in the mud – I’ll let you know how they got in in due course.

Don’t forget the next fixture, at Swanley Park on 11th November – once again, seniors and juniors are invited, so please let Steve Clarke or Gary Gillatt know if you’d like a place on the free bus.

Finally, on Sunday, Mark Ashmore made his way around a particularly muddy Chilham Castle 10k. Due to the terrain, the planned course was changed, and ran a bit longer than 10k.
