Weekend Action
It was a busy weekend all round, what with the beach picnic on Saturday afternoon – many thanks to Steve Clarke for organising. On the racing front, four TRACcies ran in the latest Whitstable Park Run with over 120 others – John Cooper leading the gang home in with 23.59, Terry Brightwell with 24.37, and father–daughter team of Rick and Rebecca Ryder clocking 26.40 and 37.17 respectively.
Over in Kingston, Mark Foster completed the Thames Meander Marathon in 3hrs 56mins, while on Sunday, Sharon Foster, Helen Langsmead and Sarah Harmes ran in the local Hotel de Ville 10k.
