Fitness League

Thanks once again to John Cooper for this round up of yesterday's Cross Country.

On a mild autumn day the 3rd leg of the Kent Fitness Cross Country League was held on Sunday 27th November at Oxleas Wood over a course that was just over 5 miles. Despite there being 70 runners less than the Swanley Race there was still another large field of 414 runners taking part over a very testing cross country course with the ground being firm underfoot. TRAC had 12 runners in the field on the day which unfortunately only contained 2 ladies. This meant that for the second time this year TRAC failed to field a full scoring team due to the lack of lady runners turning out to represent the club. However, there were still some great performances on the day by TRAC runners. The men's team remain in 16th place, the ladies' team dropped one place to 17th place and the combined team also remain in 17th place. Noel Sutton was the first TRAC member home once again finishing in 3rd place in 32:10 and maintaining 3rd place in the men's league table.
