South of England Cross Country Champs


On Saturday 29th January 2011, four juniors took part in the South of England Cross Country Championships at Parliament Hill Fields, Hampstead, London.

Emily Bond (under 13 girls) finished in 49th place, in a time of 13.35 for 3km, with 243 finishers.

Under 13 boys, Caine Moir finished in 131st place in 13.53 and Tom Winch finished in 144th in 14.02 for 3km, with 223 finishers.

Their coaches were so pleased with the results, as it was the first time these three runners has entered this high quality race.

Also, after getting back to fitness, Tilly Ellis-Jarman (under 15 girls) finished 89th in 17.39 for 4km, with 209 finishers.
