As it is coming into the summer holidays, why not make this race part of a short break? If you need any advice on where to stay locally, please check Here's some footage from Dave Wise of Trek and Run when he ran the race a few years back (!

We would like to extend our thanks to the following people and organisations, without whom the race would not take place:

Broadstairs Pavilion (Thorley Taverns)

Sweatshop Maidstone

Thanet Constabulary - for their help and guidance

RAYNET- for their excellence and communications experience

The Margate Ambulance Service - without whose help we could not stage this event

The myriad of helpers and marshals - who all give up their time voluntarily to ensure all goes smoothly. Please be nice to them out on the route – without them, you would not have a race. Any runner who is rude, to a marshal may well be barred from future races.

We will again be supporting a local charity – at least £1 from each entry will be donated to the Broadstairs Surf Life Saving Club, which encourages water safety awareness and Lifesaving skills to the people of Thanet and the community within. The club is part of Surf Life Saving GB, with more than 6,000 volunteers helping to make our beaches a safer and more enjoyable place for everyone.
