Proposed 3.7 for Matt ParkRun Sat 28th April

Hi, i have just been to Pegwell and ran on past the finish to the first bench which is approx half way to Tony on the kissing gate, may i suggest Saturday we cross the finish line, collect our barcodes as normal but those that wish to, be encouraged to run on to the first bench, turnaround and run back (then present barcodes) and therefore finish the last part of the London marathon for Matt 3.7 miles and maybe donate £5 to his charity. i will get up early and place a suitable marker/poster at the turnaround point.

kind regards Rick ...

« Last post by Rick Ryder on March 26, 2018, 09:16:29 PM »
Hi looking for a coach for my 16yr old daughter throwing 1kilo discus 3kilo shot put and 500gm javelin, the online ordered shot and discus arrived today so we had a mess about tonight over the park Birchington and managed 6.4 metre shot and a 14.8 discus (we do not yet possess a Javelin (Phew!) so any advice and help would be appreciated?

kind regards Rick Ryder...

General Discussion / Monday night's club run (11th December 2017)
« Last post by Ian Lockyer on December 07, 2017, 09:52:41 PM »
Next Monday night's club run will see a few differences. Firstly Spencer Hoult will be our impartial official and will be conducting the draw for the clubs marathon place.

Secondly, Stephen Forshaw will be standing in for Steve Clarke in his group and Ad Smith will be leading Sharon's group.

Fingers crossed if you entered the clubs ballot!

If you are doing a role at Race HQ, please be there by 08:00. if you are marshalling, please assume the lead runners will be completing 5-minute miles and be at your marshal points in plenty of time - Race starts at 09:30.

After the race, if you could hang onto your marshal waistcoat and map and the marshal coordinator will arrange to collect them from you.

Thanks very much to everyone who has volunteered, enjoy the day.

If you aren't sure where you are, you can download the marshalls' list at the bottom of this race page: https://www.thanetroadrunners.org.uk/even…/thanet-coastal-10…
