KCAA Kent Track & Field Championships

Thanet Roadrunners AC was represented in the U15 Boys' middle distance events on both days of the recent KCAA Kent Track & Field Championships at Ashford's Julie Rose Stadium.

First up was Caine Moir on Saturday 25th May 2013, contesting the final of the 1500m. Caine finished eleventh in a time of 5:11.33, showing that he is returning to the form of last year. The following day, it was Billy Harrop's turn in the 800m contest. In finishing fourth in his heat, Billy posted a new PB of 2:26.83. This qualified him for the final, a couple of hours later, in which he turned in another decent effort, clocking 2:27.61 in eighth place.

Both boys will remain in the U15 age category next year so will qualify for the same events.
