It's a long way...

Paul Yuill completed the 100 mile South Downs Trail Race over the weekend, in a terrific time of 28hrs 22 minutes. A quote from Paul: ‘It was without doubt the hardest thing i have done!!!I think i will put my feet up for a while now!’ Very well done, Paul!

Meanwhile, in Nottingham Angela Taylor and Jackie Lee both successfully completed their "Ironman" Triathlon debuts when they crossed the finish line at the Outlaw Full Distance Triathlon on Sunday. Angela came home in 14 hours 24 minutes while Jackie came in 16 hours 30. Over 800 athletes completed the 4k swim, 180k bike and 42k marathon with about 50 people not making the intermediate cut-off points. Channel 4 were filming and so Jackie and Angela could be famous when the event is broadcast on the 12th and 14th August respectively. In the process they have raised over £500 for the Retired Greyhounds Trust. However, all donations are still welcome. Thanks to Lee for the update, and very well done ladies!
