On a hot afternoon at Kingston’s Kingsmeadow Stadium, she won the B string 1500m race in 5:11.14 having led from the start. In the A String race, Naomi Kingston of Blackheath & Bromley ran 5:01.44 in finishing second as the Kent girls finished fifth overall behind Berkshire. (For the record, the boys were narrow runners-up to Essex.)
